Care guide
A little care keeps wood looking its best for years. Find your piece below.
Daily care
Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid spray polishes containing silicone.
Wood finishes
American Walnut, Natural Oak, Smoked Oak and Honey Teak
Wipe spills straight away and use coasters under cups and glasses. Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.
Painted and colored surfaces
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scrubbing, especially on worn and weathered finishes, which are part of the look.
Cane and pierced panels
Dust with a soft brush or the soft attachment of a vacuum cleaner. Keep cane dry, and wipe away spills quickly.
Glass and glossy surfaces
Spray glass cleaner on a cloth, never directly on the piece. Wipe glossy black with a soft microfiber cloth to avoid scratches.
Outdoor furniture
Dust and wipe the timber with a soft, damp cloth, and dry it afterwards. Even outdoors, protect pieces from heavy rain and standing water: cover them or move them under shelter when you can. Strong sun fades timber and cushions over time, so shade them in the hottest hours.
Cushions
Vacuum weekly on a low setting. Blot spills straight away; do not rub. Rotate cushions monthly, and store them indoors during rain.
Climate
Keep pieces at least 50 cm from AC vents and radiators, and out of strong afternoon sun, to prevent cracking and fading.
